Dog-Hiking Challenge

by

This summer, Georgia State Parks’ new dog-walking club, Tails on Trails, is challenging owners and their dogs to log some serious miles by completing seven designated hiking trails.

In addition to a completed punch card and bragging rights, owners will receive a T-shirt and bandana for their dog upon completing all seven. Participating parks include Fort Mountain, F.D. Roosevelt, Don Carter, Sweetwater Creek, High Falls, Fort McAllister and Red Top Mountain.

Share your hiking adventures by tagging photos #GaStateParks and #TailsonTrails. To join Tails on Trails, purchase a $15 membership card at a park office or online.
