As temperatures begin to drop, so does our immune defense. However, a few simple habits can help you stay well throughout the winter. Wash your hands often and avoid touching your face to reduce germ spread. Keep your immune system strong by getting enough sleep, managing stress and eating nutrient-rich foods packed with vitamin C and zinc.
If you feel a tickle in your throat, rest and hydrate early – it can make a big difference. And don’t skip your annual flu shot; it remains one of the best defenses against severe illness.
Stay warm, stay rested and stay healthy, Atlanta!
