Nearly one year after the nation’s first case of coronavirus, the U.S. has tragically witnessed more than 400,000 deaths. Now, in a new federal report, Georgia has been named the state with the fourth-most COVID-19 hospitalizations, with nine out of 10 ICU beds full.
The White House Coronavirus Task Force said mid-January that the state is in ‘full pandemic resurgence.’ To make sure you stay safe this winter, here are some helpful reminders:
• Wear a mask to protect yourself and others.
• Continue social distancing by staying at least six feet from others.
• Avoid traveling and stay away from any crowds.
