Alcohol gets a shiny new makeover


Everything these days seems to have a version for the “wellness” category. From restaurants and fast food, to ice cream and now alcohol, lots of products are getting a healthy twist.

While “lite” beer has been around for decades, alcohol companies are now also rebranding beverages, tapping into the health-conscious millennial and Gen Z markets.

Consumers have embraced low-calorie beers, specialty non-alcoholic cocktails, and beverages made with CBD and other tinctures. The biggest hit for the alcohol industry? Spiked seltzers, such as White Claw, Truly and Bon & Viv, are making the list for pool days this summer.
