Lexus RC 350 Coupe

Since the unequivocally triumphant LFA supercar, Lexus has been hard at work reversing its reputation as geriatric transport. How does the sleek new RC Coupe fare against ze Germans?

The 306-horsepower V6 shifts through eight gears smoothly, though acceleration disappoints compared to a BMW 435i or Audi S5. Still, the RC achieves its athletic looks with effortless agility and growling exhaust note. The exceedingly comfortable cabin is blessed by an LFA-inspired digital dashboard and miraculously easy-to-use infotainment system.

While the two-ton Lexus won’t outgun its Teutonic rivals, it provides legendary Lexus ride quality within an athletic, sophisticated and photogenic package.
