Flying just isn’t as fun without the chance to shop for Justin Bieber dental floss, life-size monkey statues or jumping hotdogs, now that SkyMall is gone. Enter Sky2Buy, a new way to shop inflight, debuting this summer.
Rather than a stand-alone catalog, Sky2Buy will be an advertising insert in airline magazines. Instead of selling items no one needs (c’mon, did really need that Solafeet Foot Tanner for $230?) Sky2Buy will feature travel gadgets, fashion and auto accessories.
You’ll get discounts on products while traveling and 24 hours afterwards with your boarding pass although you can shop the catalog any time.
