The Irvin family, founders of Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka, wanted to purchase property on Hope Town, Bahamas as a place for their family to vacation. Instead they opened Firefly Sunset Resort, a resort with seven charming little cottages and villas overlooking Abaco Bay.
Visitors come from all over Elbow Cay to eat at Firefly Bar and Grill. We dined outside on the patio our first night on the island. The warm breezes felt even more enchanting as we’d left 20-degree weather that morning.
We dined on bacon wrapped lobster skewers and fish Provençale, a perfect start to our week-long vacation.
