Georgia athlete campaigns for Olympic equality for women

by The 100 Companies

While there’ve been huge strides in women’s equality, discrimination still exists in some areas of the Olympics, including the Women’s Decathlon. This is arguably the only Olympic event that crowns the world’s greatest athlete, and Georgia athlete Jordan Gray is fighting for women to have a chance at it.

Women are allowed to compete in all 10 events that make up the Decathlon and can compete in the Heptathlon (seven events), but are still not represented in the Decathlon itself.

Visit LetWomenDecathlon.org for more information and to sign the petition to include Women’s Decathlon in the 2024 Summer Olympics.
