Atlanta took the top spot on Money magazine’s annual list of the 50 Best Places to Live in the U.S.
Money referred to Atlanta as a “cultural behemoth,” emphasizing that the city has been the center of several significant cultural happenings and moments, including the Civil Rights Movement and the popularization of music genres like R&B.
The outlet also mentioned the city’s ample diversity, from the people to the variety of colleges, restaurants, parks and the countless things to do that Atlanta offers residents.
