Road trip snacks made easy

by Margaret Willard

As a mom I am always carrying snacks, I think it comes with the territory. On a recent trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma, I turned an unused tackle box into a snack container.

Using the different slots, I added snacks and treats the whole car would enjoy, packed it away in the ice chest and pulled it out when anyone was hungry.

Not only did it avoid random bags of food spilling in the car, but kept the food waste to a minimum.

Next road trip or field trip, grab the organizer and let the magic happen – plus clean up is easy.
