Recently, a former boyfriend sent a message with only a song, “What might have been.” Recalling our history, I knew I made the right choice.
Later I was struck by other song lyrics, “Maybe all the right pieces would have been in all the right places.” About second-guessing one’s general path and if you went down a different road, life would be better. With any choice, it would be different, would it be better?
As we roll into 2021, we may not understand the ‘why’ of the year behind us or see the year ahead clearly. Stay present, have faith.
