“I like to kick, stretch, kick! I’m 50 years old!” Well, I will be Saturday.
Many around my age might remember the “Saturday Night Live” character Sally O’Malley. When I first saw that skit, I thought 50 was old, and here I am. I still feel like a teenager trying to fake it until I make it. While I know that’s not true, and age is just a number, it’s weird turning 50 during a pandemic.
Yet, in a year of change, having a milestone birthday seems only fitting – like a way to turn the page to the next chapter.
