On Aug. 28, the world lost an incredible actor, activist and person. Diagnosed with stage three colon cancer in 2016, which advanced to stage four, Chadwick Boseman passed away at the age of 43.
Unbeknownst to most, Boseman showed true courage and strength by continuing to act in several hit films while undergoing numerous surgeries and treatments. During this time, he filmed “21 Bridges,” “Marshall” and the groundbreaking and award-winning “Black Panther” while keeping his diagnosis private.
There has been an outpouring of tributes paid by fans and fellow actors, including Denzel Washington, Michael B. Jordan, Oprah and so many more.
