Keeping distance from others during self-quarantine can be a challenge for many, often resulting in feelings of isolation and loneliness. But there are ways to be alone, and not be lonely.
• Schedule virtual visits or happy hours with friends and family over FaceTime, Skype or Zoom.
• Instagram’s new co-watching feature lets users browse the app with friends over video chat.
• Communicate the old-fashioned way by writing a letter to a friend or loved one. It might take a couple days, but it’ll be worth the wait.
• Compete against friends virtually by playing online or phone games like Words with Friends.
