Growing up, we always had a crazy, artificial Christmas tree. You remember the ones, putting each individual branch in the appropriate slot, like assembling a standing puzzle together. Over time, it became something only I enjoyed doing.
Thank goodness faux trees evolved tremendously, and we finally upgraded. They look real, are easy to put together, come plug-in-ready with lights and, boom, you’re done.
This year, in the spirit of changing things up, I bought my first real tree. The ease, that incredible smell, it’s divine. It’s gotten me in the holiday spirit so quickly. Why haven’t I done this sooner?
