Tammy Hurt: Atlanta’s music superhero

by
Tammy Hurt

Tammy Hurt, an Atlanta native, has made a name for herself by serving on the board of Georgia Music Partners, recently being elected to the national position of vice chair for the Recording Academy and for being a musician herself (she plays the drums).

One of Tammy’s accomplishments includes assisting in passing the Georgia Music Investment Act through GMP, a feat that she said was “a seven-year effort.” She also had her own band, named She Said, which recorded “Stay All Night,” the track she’s most proud of.

Her dedication to the Atlanta music industry and beyond is inspiring.

Trying to place songs professionally recorded. Also, a fabulous female singer, as well. Would it be possible to chat with someone there who maybe could open the door. Sincerely, freddy
