Atlanta’s Virginia-Highland worth the visit

Looking for a small city feel that’s still in Atlanta? Virginia-Highland is the place to be. Located on North Highland and Virginia Avenues, the trendy neighborhood offers a variety of options to eat, shop and play.

It was built in the 1900s as a “streetcar suburb,” which means the use of streetcar lines influenced the development of the community.

Now, VaHi (as it’s referred to by locals) is home to beautiful bungalows featured on the annual Tour of Homes, as well as annual festivals like Summerfest in June.

For locals or visitors alike, it’s a spot worthy of exploring.
