What do you get when you cross a quarrelsome widow with an eccentric woman at a peer led support group? Well, if you’re talking about Netflix’s newest series, “Dead to Me,” you get endless twists and turns, dark humor and a TV addiction.

When Jen (Christina Applegate) lost her husband after a hit-and-run accident and meets Judy (Linda Cardellini), the two become fast yet unlikely friends. With only 10 30-minute episodes, the binge-worthy series navigates grief, friendship and a slew of other emotions along the way.

After the season’s cliffhanger ending, I’m dying for season two.
