A wedding series: The little details

Adding in small but meaningful things to represent you as a couple can add personal touches to a wedding, helping guests feel the love. A favorite thing we included: a tree from a family member, planted in dirt from our parents’ homes to represent our unity.

A few more ideas:

• Signature cocktail – We served a bourbon peach smash for the Mr. and a vodka thyme lemonade for the Mrs. during cocktail hour.

• Alternative guest book.

• Favors with meaning – We love coffee, so we provided coffee from a local shop.

• Amped-up entrance décor – We used a DIY balloon garland.
