New spring training home for the Braves: CoolToday Park

by Jan Schroder

When the Budweiser Clydesdales show up, you know it’s a special event. It was opening day for CoolToday Park, the new spring training home of the Atlanta Braves in North Port, Florida.

The excited crowds filtered in to the lively drumbeats of the Heavy Hitters, the Atlanta Braves drumline, in town for the debut game in the 6500-seat stadium, which also has seating for 1800 on a grassy berm.

Concessions, which include Chicken Coop, Fish Camp, Green Fields and the Tomahawk Tiki Bar, will be open year-round. Join a season ticket priority list for 2020 with $100 deposit.
