The Paul Millsap era of the Atlanta Hawks is officially over. After a blockbuster move for Dwight Howard in 2016 resulted in yet another first-round playoff defeat, the storied franchise took on a rebuilding mentality.
The new faces of the team may take some getting used to, but one player currently with the team is in the top 50 of all-time scoring for the Hawks: Dennis Schröder.
Schröder is already pushing an up-tempo offense this year. Our pace of possession in the first preseason game would have put us 1st in the NBA last year.
