Passion for Pets Drums Up Nearly $2,000 for Area Rescue Agency

A common love for their family pets empowered Dunwoody girls, Siler (10) and Brinkley (9), to help hundreds of rescued animals. The pair hosted a “Welcome Summer” party complete with food, family fun and a silent auction-style raffle.

The event is one of many supported by Kids Boost, an Atlanta-area nonprofit that gives kids $100 startup cash and the support needed to host a fundraiser for the charity of their choice.

Siler and Brinkley raised nearly $2,000 for Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. Together the girls garnered hundreds of dollars in raffle items and about 30 sponsors.
