Last week, Porsche produced its millionth 911; a glorious and well-earned milestone for Stuttgart’s sports car artisans.
In many ways, the 911 is the Keanu Reeves of cars; neither has really aged since their inception in the early ‘60s, and judging by the 911 GT3’s new record lap times and the wild success of the “John Wick” franchise, both still kick serious ass in their 50s.
911s have become so ubiquitous in Buckhead that the wow factor of a passing Porsche has waned; but I’m sure the owners don’t care when they’re piloting the word’s most refined sports car.
