The UAE could be home to another ambitious project that is literally out of this world!
Clouds Architecture Office is targeting Dubai to construct an enormous (32,000m) floating skyscraper that will be suspended from an asteroid. The project, named Analemma Tower, is just a concept at this point but the science backing it is very real.
Analemma Tower will rely on a space-based supporting foundation from which the tower is suspended. By manoeuvring a large asteroid into orbit around earth, a high-strength cable can be lowered towards the earth’s surface from which the tower will hang … crazy.
