Protect Your Pups From Canine Flu

by admin

My rescue, Rocky, absolutely loves dog parks. He makes friends easily and never causes trouble. Recently, though, I can’t take him to one of his favorite places. Why? Canine flu.

The highly contagious disease is spreading around Atlanta. Symptoms include coughing, sneezing, fever, lethargy, runny nose or eyes and loss of appetite.

Unfortunately, current dog flu vaccines won’t protect your pup from this strain. To keep your fur kids safe, avoid dog parks, boarding and grooming facilities and make sure your dog is up to date on the bordatella and canine distemper-parvo combination vaccines. Keep your pooches healthy and happy!
