Currently under construction, The World Children’s Center will serve more than 800 homeless, orphaned or neglected children from Georgia and all over the world. The 710-acre “green” campus, located 45 minutes from Atlanta, will ensure the education, safety and development of some of the world’s most underserved children.
The Center is the passion project of Atlanta businessman Donald H. Whitney, who was recognized as a “CNN Hero.” Once complete, the Center will serve as a state-of-the-art community offering short- and long-term homes to children in a nurturing and healing environment.
