What once started as a chef’s dream and morphed into a pop-up series has become one of Atlanta’s few tasting menu-driven restaurants. On Lazy Betty’s highly anticipated opening night, I was lucky enough to snag a reservation.
The industrial chic aesthetic – featuring exposed brick, muted colors and blankets atop each chair – was pleasantly unexpected and welcoming upon arrival.
Seasoned chef Ronald Hsu offers two ambitious tasting menus with plans for a la carte options in the lounge. The perfect pacing can’t be beat, but the experimental and thoughtful approach to each course is where the restaurant shines.
