Asian-Inspired Dishes from CO in Poncey-Highland

When he was stationed in Southeast Asia while serving in the Marines, Greg Bauer developed a love for the food. That inspired him to open CO in 2012, which opened its first location in Atlanta this week. Other locations are in Savannah, Charlotte, Myrtle Beach and Charleston.

Japanese-born Masanori Shiraishi is the Executive Chef, serving dishes that include banh mi, beef pho, sushi, and noodle and rice dishes. Our favorites at lunch included the tuna tacos, salmon carpaccio accented with lemongrass and kung fu crunch makimono.

CO serves lunch and dinner, and begins its beverage program later this month.
