Catch the Drift

I had him at oysters when I suggested Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar in Marietta for dinner. My husband is crazy for those little delicacies on the half shell and happily selected his 12 favorites from a long list of available varieties.

We loved both our starters, the charred octopus, and yellowfin tuna poke served with avocado, spicy radish and crispy plantains.

We shared the Atlantic grouper and Block Island swordfish, both perfectly flavored and cooked. At a seafood place, you have to have hushpuppies, although good ones are hard to fine. These had a super crisp exterior – just perfect.
