Inside Morningside Kitchen – Part 3

by

Last week we looked back on Tom Murphy’s original restaurant, Murphy’s, which started as a neighborhood deli. From the beginning, wine was always an important part of the business, and when Murphy’s moved to its new location on Virginia Avenue, Tom Murphy knew he wanted to include a wine retail shop inside the restaurant.

Today, over 350 different types of wine can be purchased at Murphy’s Wine Shop with the help of their wine consultants, Michael Kunz and Bob McKechnie.

The restaurant also hosts regular Tuesday night Wine Tastings and special Farmer’s Table Dinners, featuring multiple courses paired with wine.
