Since beer is the way to my heart, it looks like the Westside’s Second Self Beer Company may be my beloved Valentine come February 14.
The brewery is releasing its Southern red velvet cake-inspired Bleeding Heart for the second year in February. The amber ale is brewed with Tanzanian cocoa nips, selected by Cacao Atlanta Chocolate Co., and the red malts create a signature pink color.
The brewery has also released a bourbon barrel-aged version, Old Heart, with plans to release Bitter Heart, a dry hopped version, and Wild Heart, a sour version, in the future. Cheers, Valentine!
