The Abattoir and Ford Fry saga continues. Fry will open a steakhouse called Marcel in the closing Abattoir space in the Westside Provisions District in July.
Abattoir will close on March 28. The steakhouse will be Fry’s first and Atlanta’s only Westside steakhouse. It is named after Macellin “Marcel” Cerdan, a 1900s French boxer.
This is great news for me because soon I will have access to a steakhouse, two taquerias, three burger shacks, two seafood restaurants, a brewery, a coffee house and three ice cream shops. On second thought, I am glad to have access to a 24-hour gym.
