After retiring as an NFL quarterback, Nate Hybl discovered a new passion and opened Gusto Wood Fire Grill last fall across from Piedmont Hospital.
Guests are warmly greeted at the door and instructed how to order: select your style (greens, grains or bread); pick a protein (chicken, portabella, shrimp) and add a “gusto.” These are three layers of flavors that include a housemade sauce, fresh fruits and veggies and a garnish.
I loved my choice of chipotle mango avocado with greens. It’s fast, fresh and affordable, with entrées ranging from $8.50 to $9.50.
Nate and his new team scored with this one.
