The largest Japanese cultural festival in the Southeast returns to Georgia Sept. 19-20. Held at Gas South Convention Center in Duluth, JapanFest Atlanta 2026 welcomes more than 20,000 attendees annually.

This year’s theme, “Timeless Japan,” celebrates both traditional and modern Japanese culture. Guests can sample a wide variety of Japanese cuisine and browse more than 100 vendor booths throughout the weekend. JapanFest also features music, dance and martial arts performances, including appearances by rakugo master Katsura Sunshine, high-energy Double Dutch performance team HARIBOW and many more.

One-day tickets start at $20.78, while two-day tickets start at $38.13, with fees included.
