The SCAD AnimationFest is set to return Sept. 28-30 with special screenings, lively panels and insightful presentations from SCAD students, alumni and industry creatives. The three-day festival will focus on animation, motion media design, visual effects and – new this year – gaming and virtual production. Plus, during the festival, SCAD will unveil its new, state-of-the-art, 700-seat theater.
Tickets are on sale now, and the official schedule is online. Highlights include a screening of SCAD Animation Studios’ new student animated film, “The Last Dungeon,” and FOX Entertainment’s preview screening of “Krapopolis,” a new animated comedy from “Rick and Morty” co-creator Dan Harmon.
