Grab a membership and come embrace your inner nerd at Dragon Con, which takes over Downtown Atlanta every year during Labor Day weekend.
This year, the five-day, multi-genre convention is set to be bigger than ever. Comic book fans, gamers and sci-fi/fantasy enthusiasts from around the world can enjoy daily panels featuring their favorite stars, as well as programming such as costume contests, acting workshops, “adult geeky puppet acts,” a robotic combat competition and much more.
The biggest highlight is, of course, the famous Saturday parade, where thousands of people gather to witness the elaborate costumes.
