Middle and high school students across America recently participated in C-SPAN’s 17th annual national StudentCam competition, with two students from The Davis Academy in Atlanta walking away winners.

More than 2,300 students took on the challenge to produce a short documentary film that explored national issues they most want the president and Congress to address in 2021. Over 1,200 entries were received.

Will Morrison took home second place for “The Missing Piece for Autism,” which covers the impact of COVID-19 on the autism community. Ariella Lewis was awarded honorable mention for “Equality and Protection for All: Laws and the LGBTQ+ Community.”
