This school year ended abruptly for students, especially for seniors. To help motivate and lift up the state’s high school seniors, the Atlanta-based National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) is hosting a scholarship for students to become virtual valedictorians.

The Virtual Valedictorian Scholarship 2020 will select 10 students to deliver their speeches to classmates and other people worldwide. Each recipient will also be awarded a $1,000 college scholarship.

To enter, students must be a high school senior, submit a 3- to 5-minute video of their speech and include a picture and transcript by May 15. All winners will be announced June 1.
