Atlanta Jazz Festival returns to Piedmont Park with a star-studded lineup

by The 100 Companies

The 49th Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival returns May 23-25 to Piedmont Park, spotlighting three Grammy-winning headliners. Saxophonist Kamasi Washington, hip-hop stalwarts The Roots and Atlanta-bred singer-songwriter PJ Morton will top the Memorial Day weekend lineup.

Alongside them, acclaimed Grammy winners Esperanza Spalding and bassist Christian McBride & Ursa Major bring virtuosic jazz to the stage. The festival also features workshops, food vendors, family activities and a diverse roster of artists celebrating jazz’s rich cultural tapestry across multiple outdoor stages.

One of the nation’s largest free jazz festivals, the annual event draws thousands for a weekend of live music and community celebration.
