Artists needed for Brookhaven crosswalks

Calling all Atlanta area artists – the city of Brookhaven is actively searching for artists to help with the design of a new crosswalk. According to Reporter Newspapers, the city distributed a request stating the chosen artist will need to “create an innovative crosswalk design” for the intersection of Osborne Road and Windsor Parkway at a roundabout.

Working with its Arts and Culture Commission and the Lynwood Park Civic Association, the city’s project is the perfect opportunity for established and new artists. Proposals are due by 4PM on Sept. 8 and must be submitted online. Good luck to all who submit.
