Now that school has ended, the next few months will be filled with summer camps, family vacations and pool days. The summer heat can make it hard to be outside all day, so for creative kids, an art camp is a good alternative.
Atlanta has a few standouts that offer everything from drawing to ceramics to acting. The High Museum begins weekly sessions on June 10 through Aug. 2, offering campers the chance to explore all aspects of art. Vinings School of Art Camp, Chastain Art Camp and MODA summer camps are also great options for the art-loving kid.
