For the past couple of years “Hamilton” and “Waitress” were on my list of must-see plays. And thanks to the fabulous Fox Theatre’s Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta series, I got to check both off.
Last week I took in “Waitress,” and it was divine. It was filled with adult humor, witty one-liners, delicious banter, some original cast members in stand-out roles and wonderful music to carry the story. My face hurt from laughing, and I left wanting to bake and eat all the pies.
I wish it ran longer, because it’s worth a second bite.
