Homespun Series is the brainchild of local filmmakers and husband and wife Jon and Brantly Watts – creators of the Atlanta Film Festival’s breakout documentary AKA Blondie.
In partnership with the ATLFF, Homespun Series will give up-and-coming local filmmakers a platform to present their work to an audience. The short documentary series will feature profiles of the unique people and neighborhoods that give Atlanta its distinct culture.
The next installment of the series is tonight, July 30, at the Plaza Theatre. Featuring films Low, Inside the Abyss and Kyle Brooks, the screening will highlight Atlanta’s thriving art scene. Admission is $10.
