Lovett School student finds his voice on ‘American Idol’

Slater Nalley, a senior at Atlanta’s The Lovett School, captured national attention on season 22 of “American Idol” with a performance dedicated to his former teacher, Michele Davis.

The teenager wowed judges with his powerful audition and continues to impress while advancing in the high-stakes competition.
