Do you have a cold, the flu, or COVID-19?

by The 100 Companies

‘Tis the season to understand the differences between a cold, the flu, and COVID-19.

All three are caused by viruses and spread in similar ways, with many similar symptoms. The common cold is caused by rhinoviruses, the flu by influenza A and B viruses and COVID-19 by SARS-CoV-2.

With a cold, you typically won’t experience headaches, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting, as with the flu and COVID-19.

It can be difficult to tell the difference between the flu and COVID-19 without testing. COVID-19 also spreads easier than the flu, and while uncommon, it’s possible to have both at the same time.
