As soon as I reclined in the chair I felt myself relax. For the next 30 minutes we listened to soothing chants while breathing in the Himalayan salt that lined the wall in the Meditation room at the new Intown Salt Room.
In the Breathing room, we spent another 30 minutes relaxing in lounge chairs resting on a bed of salt, surrounded by four salt-covered walls while breathing in salt mist.
Salt therapy, around since the ancient Greeks, is popular in Europe and making its way here as advocates claim improvement with respiratory issues, stress, fatigue, anxiety and allergies.
