A flashback to Atlanta in 1995

In Atlanta 25 years ago, things looked a little different than they do today. For some, that may not seem all that long ago. But for me, it’s literally my whole lifetime. So, what was it like?

The Atlanta Braves won the World Series over the Cleveland Indians and the Georgia Bulldogs hosted the famous GA-FL rivalry game at Sanford Stadium.

Powerball tickets went on sale for the first time in Georgia, MARTA’s fare was $1.50, and Ponce City Market was still an abandoned Sears building.

And Georgia native, Alan Jackson, won the CMA Male Entertainer of the Year award.
