Why my son and I won’t dare go to Houston for the World Series

by The 100 Companies

After our Atlanta Braves earned a trip this week to play the Astros in the World Series, my son Thomas texted me, asking if we should buy tickets to see them play in Houston.

Then we remembered our last tragic sports trips there – he and wife Amanda watching their beloved Tar Heels tie Villanova in the 2016 NCAA basketball championship, only to lose 4.7 seconds later and me witnessing my Atlanta Falcons lose the infamous 28-3 2017 Super Bowl.

With all that bad juju, we decided we need to do our part to let the Braves win – and not attend.
