The story behind the South’s tastiest festival

by
food and wine festival founders

It’s hard to imagine Atlanta Food & Wine Festival launched just nine years ago by entrepreneurs Elizabeth Feichter and Dominique Love. The idea was born out of a trip to FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen which left the duo longing for a similar culinary weekend.

As the only event of its kind to spotlight a region, the Southern-focused festival has become a national favorite.

From its launch in 2010 to curating the nation’s first pop-up vineyard in Midtown to elevating classes, tasting and other event offerings, the Festival has and will continue to bring together leaders of their craft.
