The afterglow of tying the Royal Knot

For weeks I was excited about the royal wedding – planning a viewing party, watching every show, devouring every article. I couldn’t get enough.

As a kid, we got up early and watched Diana become a princess. It was magical. In 2011, we watched William and Kate’s incredible affair.

This was different. You could feel a shift coming and Saturday’s festivities didn’t disappoint. Deeply personal, authentic, simple, elegant, strikingly modern and filled with love. I fell in love with being in love again. Yet, Harry and Meghan’s union represents so much more. Change, hope, inclusion – exactly what the world needs now.
